It’s important to include squalane in your skincare because it offers moisture without heaviness due to being of similar composition to your own skin’s oil. As we age our skin becomes drier, therefore by adding in squalene you are replenishing the oil your skin needs to help rejuvenate itself. *Note: Squalane is different from squalene which your skin naturally produces, and some cosmetic companies use in their skincare. Due to Live P.S.’ code of ethics, we chose to use a plant-based ingredient rather than squalene which typically comes from shark liver oil.
